Arket’s Most-Coveted Jumper Is Finally Back in Stock, But It Won’t Hang Around
I don’t want to sound like a fashion cliché, but I think I’ve fallen in love with a jumper. To be fair, the pullover in question has all the attributes I’m looking for: It’s striped, loose-fitting and, crucially, looks way more expensive than it is. The piece I’m referring to comes from Arket and costs £69. The brand has reissued this jumper after similar versions sold out last year, and I (along with the rest of the Who What Wear team) have been waiting for this new drop ever since. It’s not really surprising that we’re all falling over ourselves for this high-street item considering it is very similar to the incredibly expensive Celine version, so this feels like a real bargain.
This time, there are three versions of the v-neck jumper for us to choose from: a white jumper with blue stripes (the OG), a white jumper with black stripes and finally the latest addition – a white jumper with thick stripes for 2022 update. If you prefer a round-neck style, don’t fret – Arket’s thought of everything. I love the idea of wearing this style with a pair of jeans and Teva’s for now, or smart black trousers and heels when autumn arrives. And if you want tips on how to style it, then you’re in luck. Back in 2021, numerous stylish women were wearing the item with trench coats, trousers and jeans. Plus, stylist Hannah Lewis wore hers with a pair of black shorts, black sandals and a Prada bag—a seriously elevated spring outfit. Keep scrolling to see more outfit ideas with this Arket jumper. Then, go on to shop the piece and other striped jumpers we love if you miss out.
Style Notes: Minimalist queen Aïda of Basics Touch shows how to do simple styling well. Add the Arket jumper to a pair of split-hem black trousers and some loafers, and you’ll look super chic.
Style Notes: Say hello to the ultimate transitional look. Fisherman sandals, jeans, a raffia bag and a trench coat look great with this Arket jumper.
Style Notes: Cropped trousers or jeans really work with this jumper. Try it with a pair of white plimsolls if you’re on holiday for a chic riviera vibe.
Style Notes: Proof you can wear this jumper in the middle of summer. Simply choose the rest of your outfit carefully—shorts and sandals work well to keep you cool.
